The fragrance smells different than expected? The “coriander effect.”

  • Everyone perceives scents slightly differently due to genetics and individual differences—similar to coriander (cilantro). What smells fresh or creamy to some can smell soapy, metallic, or “disgusting” to others.
  • How to test properly: 1–2 sprays from 10–20 cm, don’t rub, wait 2–5 minutes, then smell from a little distance.
  • If the fragrance isn’t right for you, you can of course return it.
